Project Details: Create cohesive illustrations infographics and maps for the book "Wild and Beautiful: A Natural History of Open Spaces in Orange County." I worked under the direction of the book's lead designer, Laura Liptak.
Solution: I created the maps, illustrations, and infographics to be cohesive and have a realistic and natural feel while still being modern. I did this by sticking to naturalistic shapes and simplifying them whenever possible. I also matched the colors of the rest of the book and took advantage of the full-color printing the book was planned to use.
